Acne

The medical term Acne Vulgaris is a skin disease caused by follicle pilosebacea chronic inflammation characterized with small nodule with fluid or pus.

Acne usually appears on some areas like the face, shoulders,neck, chest, upper back and upper arms.

Acne started to emerge during puberty, in women between theage of 14 - 17 years and in men between 16 to 19 years. Exact cause of acne is unknown, but there are several factors that affect acne :

• Genetik and race factor
• Psychological factors (stress and emotions)
• Hormonal : on day 2 - 7 before menstruation 70% of women had exacerbations of acne.
• Drugs : Oral corticosteroids or topical, ACTH, androgens,Yodida, bromide, INH, Vitamin B12, difenilhidantoin and pherobar bital maycause expenditure of eruption of pimples or acne.
• Oily Skin
• Bacterial infections (Corynebacterium acnes, Staphylococcusalbus et epidermidis, Pityrosporum ovale et orbiculare).
• Role of fatty food factor
• Cosmetics: materials that often the cause mainly found onthe base cream, moisturizer and sunblock cream
• Healing depends on the treatment acne is skin hygiene and diet for the need.
• Some drugs can be used topically or consumed (oral).
• Another alternative therapy with sebum expendituresvelstraktor blackheads or by electric surgical, surgical or by injection of intralesi.
