Hepatitis


Hepatitis is a term used for all types of inflammation that occurs in the liver. This disease can be caused by a virus or wrong and excessive consumption of drugs, including traditional medicine, or related also to the blood and spleen disorders.

Hepatitis is often also referred as jaundice by the society. This is because patients have signs of hepatitis, skin and the whites of the eyes turned yellow.

Type of hepatitis is hepatitis A, B, C, D, E, F and G.

Hepatitis A
Hepatitis A common in children and usually do not cause symptoms, but in adults, followed by similar symptoms as the flu are fever, feel tired, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, yellow eyes and decrease appetite. These symptoms will gradually disappeared after 6 to 12 weeks. Hepatitis A can be transmitted by food and beverages through contaminated with hepatitis A, such as fruit -unwashed fruits, uncooked vegetables, immature cooked shellfish, ice cubes in drinks are not through the heating process.

Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B disease has symptoms similar to hepatitis A are fever, feel tired,nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, yellow eyes and decrease appetite. The diseasecan be transmitted through needles, blood transfusions and human bites.

To prevent the spread of hepatitis can be done by immunization and conduct clean lifestyle and healthy, eat and drink that have been cooked in advance, washing all eating utensils until clean, especially after use sufferers, washing hands before and after meals.
