Paddy ( Oryza sativa L )

Paddy as a staple food in Asian region and specially inIndonesia. Paddy want structure wet ground with hard content minimize 20%, degree of acidity land between 4 - 7 and have thick of solum between 18 - 22 cm. Process Preparation of Seed and Farm of Agriculture.

A. Preparation of Seed.
Seed better soak with salt water ( 200 salt gram / water liter ), and seed which floating to be thrown. Good seed be collected, cleaned, then soak with clean water during 24 hour and every 12 hour so water must be changed . Seed then be collected using wet bag during 24 hour. Seed can ready for be planted if emerge form white blot at part of its back part. Hereinafter seed dispersion flatten above farm and be given paddy hay above seed which have been disseminated.

B. Preparation of Farm.
Time for processing of farm better be done minimize 4 week before cultivation with plough, harrow, and flattening of farm. Before processed, farm beforehand be suffused by water around 7 day. At farm of light, processing of farm enough by 1 times plough and 2 times harrow, then be done flattening. At farm of heavy , processing of farm be done by 2 times plough and 2 times harrow, then be smoothed down with deepness of layer for processing between 15 - 20 cm.

Cultivation.
Distance plant which suggested is 25 x cm 25 cm or 30 x cm 15 cm, or distance plant align 40 x cm 20 x cm 12,5 cm. Varietas of paddy that be used at this time come from traverse of IRRI or traverse of home affairs.
