MILK AND YOUR PETS

Milk is pet food additivies with contain trace mineral and vitamins. Some pets can tolerate a little milk as pet foodadditivies, but none at all because dogs and cats do not havethe proper enzymes to properly break down the sugar in milk which is called lactose.

In human, they are also missing these digestive enzymes to properly break down the sugar in milk who are lactoseintolerant. If the proper enzymes are not present, the lactoseremains undigested and tends to ferment in the intestine andcause diarrhea.

If pets enjoys and appears to tolerate milk, owner can give they petssmall amounts and give your pets one of the special cat or dog milkthat have had the lactose removed to prevent occurring digestive diseases such as chronic diarrhea
