COPROPHAGY
Coprophagy berasal dari bahasa yunani "
copro " yang artinya feses dan " phagy " yang berarti makan
sehingga coprophagy dapat didefinisikan sebagai kebiasaan hewan tertentu yang
memakan fesesnya sendiri.
Beberapa anjing juga suka memakan fesesnya sendiri sama
seperti hewan herbivora ( kelinci, rusa dan kuda ), hal ini biasanya dipicu
anjing stres dengan kondisi kandang terlalu padat. Anjing yang suka makan
fesesnya bukan karena kekurangan asupan pakan.
